About this outing
This hike is an opportunity for us to say thank you for your generosity, care, and commitment toward ensuring nature all across Rensselaer County can continue to thrive. If you are brand new to everything RPA, this is also an opportunity to get to know the organization and the staff better, meet other new members in the community, learn about other programs & outings through RPA, and be introduced to one of our favorite community forests that members like you helped make possible. 

 

We will meet at Valentino Family Community Forest at 10am on Saturday May 18th for a morning of hiking, exploring, and s'mores around the lean-to.

What to expect & what to bring
This event will include one to one and a half hours of on-trail hiking over moderate terrain. Please bring a picnic lunch (optional), snacks for the hike, plenty of water, hiking/walking clothes and shoes, and some questions about RPA (if you have any)!

We will all meet at Valentino Family Community Forest at 10am. There will be some time at the beginning for Staff introductions and to get acquainted with each other.
