Maps and GIS Data

These eleven pdf maps of the 10 towns and 1 village display the variety of ecological communities that are on the Plateau. The diverse array of 73 types of ecological communities range from Hemlock-Northern Hardwood Forests to Red-Maple Hardwood Swamps to Vernal Pools. The GIS data for these maps can also been found in the RPA Data Basin Gallery. Data Basin allows you to zoom in to sites, add other layers and export the data for your own use.

These nine pdf maps from the Regional Conservation Plan were developed through an extensive Ecological Assessment. Maps range from Important Forest-Interior Areas to Important Aquatic Networks to Rare Plants. The GIS data for these maps can also been found in the RPA Data Basin Gallery. Data Basin allows you to zoom in to sites, add other layers and export the data for your own use.

This will take you to an external site where RPA houses its GIS data, which is available for public viewing and downloading. Data Basin provides many functionalities, allowing users to zoom into specific sites, add other data layers, export created maps as pdfs or download GIS data.

New to Data Basin? We suggest you take a look at the "Quick Start" section in our Data Basin User Guide.
