Valentino Family Community Forest
Overview
The Valentino Family Community Forest is located on Stuffle Street in Grafton, New York. This 416-acre parcel adds to an almost entirely connected 7-mile conserved corridor along the northwest escarpment of the Rensselaer Plateau, including sensitive wetlands, rocky outcroppings, deep forest, and spectacular views.

This project was made possible by a generous donation from Bill and Kay Valentino, a grant from the U.S. Forest Service Community Forest Program, The Nature Conservancy, the NYS Conservation Partnership Program, the NYS Environmental Protection Fund, and support from Forests Forever donors.

This Community Forest would not have been possible without the support of the local communities and the volunteers that make up the Community Forest Committee and the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance/Rensselaer Land Trust Trail Crew.
