About the Restoration

Rensselaer Plateau Alliance Vice President Fred DeMay came across this Mansfield Canoe several years ago and knew he had discovered a hidden gem.

Although a little rough around the edges, he recognized the original Ash and Cherry could be good as new with a little elbow grease.

As both a Fly Fisherman and a woodworker he had the skills and the space to restore this vintage beauty!

A Huge Thank You To Fred for this Generous Donation!

All proceeds from this raffle will go towards land conservation and stewardship in Rensselaer County!
